How long are these things supposed to be?

I've always heard 2 pages, but haven't seen any definitive answer. Any help?

Different schools have different minimums and/or maximums.
2 pages is a safe bet for most schools. Check out --LinkRemoved-- and look for the schools you're interested in.

For most schools: 2 pages double space--- ~ 900 words

Look at the requirements of the schools you are applying to determine this. There are some general rules, as stated above, but there is also a lot of variance.
