How short is too short?

I've noticed most applicants find it difficult to keep their personal statement short and concise, but I actually have the opposite problem. I've written 3 different personal statements so far because they keep sounding more like a diversity statement, but thats a whole other issue. Well, all 3 have ranged from 450-580ish words. Right now the statement I like best is at 454
I think I can make it a little longer, but I don't want to sound forced. What do you guys think is too short?

is that considered short? I thought most PS's were around 500-600 words or like 2 pages, no?

It seems like the gold standard for personal statements is right around two pages. If you can do that, you're fine.

My statement is currently at 1.25 pages with Times 12 pt font and 1 in margins.
I know that most people submit 2 pages, but is less frowned upon?

My girlfriend says the longer the better, but I imagine it gets physically challenging around 4 inches or so.

I think 454 words is a good length. Probably be refreshing to the adcomms.

My PS was about 1.5 double spaced pages. I think you are fine.
