Applied late in cycle last year, WL'd, Re-Write PS?

Hi,

I applied really late in cycle (took feb lsat) and got waitlisted at all of my schools (165 lsat). Got off the waitlists and decided to work this year instead.

Do I need to re-write a personal statement or can I just resubmit the one I used last cycle? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Rewrite only if you've done something extra special that could help boost your application. Otherwise, I think using your old personal statement is fine.

Check with the admissions office website or call and ask what they prefer. Many schools request a new PS or an additional LOR. School preferences vary.

Wouldn't you want to avoid doing anything the same as last cycle? Saying as how last cycle didn't give you the desired results?
