Either's acceptable, but gerunds are sloppy. I'd edit as above...

I'm drawn to [name of school's] dedication to [e.g., practice-oriented instruction in its clinical programs]. Just my .02. It's mostly a style question, so feel free to disregard.

I concur with the outcome but disagree with MrKappus's overly broad statement that gerunds are sloppy.
