lsat increase -- explanation needed, but not much to say
Posted: Sat Jan 30, 2010 1:14 am
i had a rough day the first time i took the lsat and didn't do as well as i knew i could. i took it again and my score jumped from low 160s to high 170s. i'm really happy about it but i don't have much to say in an addendum. "i had a bad day" seems generic and not an explanation worth writing, and while the first testing conditions were less than ideal, i'd prefer not to whine about it. however, almost everyone says that you should explain any difference this large in an addendum, and i'm pretty schools will be asking me about it anyway if i don't explain it in my application.
any thoughts on what i could say that would address the issue?
thanks in advance, TLS world.
