Just a quick question. When submitting your PS for applications, at the top of the word document, do you simply write the title at the top? Do you label it personal statement?
For example, should it look like this
TITLE
asd;lfkjasdfkl;jsadf
asd;klfjsdafl;kjsadfkl;
asd;flkjasdf;lksdajfsdjkl
Like This....
PERSONAL STATEMENT - TITLE
ASD;FLKJASDF;LSDJAFSDKL;AJF
ASD;FLKJASDF;LJASDF;LKJASDF
FL;ASKDJF;SLAFJKSDAL;KFJJASDF
or like this....
PERSONAL STATEMENT
TITLE
asdfl;kasjdf;laksjdf
as;dflkjasflkwejqpoi
asdf;ljkasdfl;jasd;flk

Re: Personal Statment Title
Everything I have read, and the few adcoms I have talked to, say not to give it a title for any reason. In the header, write the words "Personal Statement" and put your name and LSAC number. No title.

Thank You. Anyone know how to keep the header on only the first page?

I actually put the header to the right of the page...I don't know if anyone else did that, but I did.

Re: Personal Statment Title
I put it on every page -- it's easier, with MS Word being such a pain. It doesn't take up any typing space (if you use a true header), so that wasn't an issue.
