Anyone start applying to a school and then realize they want a PS in like 500 words or less while you have a PS that has exceeded the requirement? Did you cut it down or just say F-it and not apply?

Not apply.

I understand wanting it to be concise, but that's ridiculous.

I was accepted to a school where I was a weak consider via LSP with a PS that was well over 500 words (that was their requirement too). I would say 500 is just another way of saying 2 pages double spaced.

define 'well over'...my ps is a tad over 900 words. A bit excessive to even think of sending it?

Just over 700 words.
