Temporal Incongruity to Improve Flow = Bad?

Hey Everyone,
Obsessively reading over my PS while my last professor gets his LOR in (bleh!), and I realized that an element of my PS involving courses I've taken isn't accurate temporally, which could theoretically be verified by inspection of my undergraduate transcript.
Is this something I need to correct? I think the story flows much better this way, but the dates / timing aren't completely accurate (no falsification of my record is involved--everything I say is true, but maybe not exactly at the time I said it happened).
Sorry for the vague post, don't want to post too many details if I don't need to.
Thanks,
Nickerson
