Hi, You have a nice story but I think 70% is the story. You have not written about what would make you a good law student. I dont' want to freak you out. Maybe you should put your clerkship experience in a diversity statement or something. And focus of more of what you have done in the past to prove you have talents.

Excellent opening I found it to be very engaging right off the bat. But I agree with the poster above that the essay needs to have a little more "hard facts" statements about yourself for a better balance.

well since its Friday night I'm going final on Sunday, but I don't think I can rewrite my whole ps. Should I bulk up the facts about me and make it more 50/50?
BTW i've read dozens of 9/10 & 10/10 personal statements where the person just goes through a story, and never even mentions why they'd be a good candidate. I'm slightly confused.
