I won't speak for TTT, but I have strong ties to the Cleveland area. Art Modell and his Ravens can suck it.

There are some days when I don't have interviews starting until about 3pm. Hopefully I can pull myself together by then, even after a night of silliness. However, having never drunk Early Times, I will not be experimenting the day before my #1 pick for OCI.

Also, I concur....Ravens = teh suck. So happy it's almost football season.

I would tend to agree, without having been there obviously, that art wasn't very nice to the city of cleveland, but why hold the actions of a crotchety old man against an entire franchise? the players are new [with one exception], the ownership is new, and cleveland got another team in no time. is there no spirit of forgiveness?

the only holdovers that I can think of would be rob burnett and matt stover.

The real problem I had with the Brown's move had less to do with whether the team was winning or losing and more to do with Cleveland's then financial distress. Despite having a large, rabid fan base which kept revenue up, Modell demanded a new stadium instead of repairs to the old one (his wikipedia entry gives some insight into just how beneficial this would have been to Modell). Modell's move, when Cleveland's public schools and infrastructure were in need of the capital instead of the stadium, was incredibly disloyal to a community that would have ultimately done what he asked had he waited a few years for the city to get on its feet.

In sum, Modell can suck it. By association, the Ravens can suck it.

madden. hrm. haven't played madden in years, so if you're up for no challenge at all, then I'm your man. I took it pretty hard when EA put the 9 inch nails into ESPN NFL 2k5.

i'm confused. would I need to purchase more videogame systems in order to suffer said madden indignities? because I'm still working my way through a backlog of xbox and gamecube games, so I don't see buying a 360 in my near future.

Will that entail turning off the laser light show?

From what I've heard, it entails patching the drywall from last year's orientation. :)

don't sell yourself short. a fog machine is often a necessary component of a good laser light show.

Aw, I'm getting all nostalgic for last year now. Stupid summer jobs making me be semi-responsible.
