I had this new forum created since I saw many 2011 threads being created. Having a separate forum for the TLS Class of 2011 makes sense to me since you will be going through many of the same issues together (0L reading, housing, first days of class, outlining, first set of exams, 1L job hunt, etc.). Through having a thread dedicated solely to your class (whether in the same law school or not) will allow everyone with shared interests to find those going through the same thing and commiserate together.

Thanks for the postive feedback! I gave it a lot of thought before creating this forum but felt that it was an addition. Next year I will add a Class of 2012 forum. This will be good too for if you take a break from TLS (I have heard of the rare person doing this, I do not recommend it ) you can come back and still post in a forum where you will know everyone. Thus, a good way to keep in touch with your favorite posters as the site continues to grow.

Where do us 2012'er evening students live on TLS?

Awesome idea, Ken. As I pointed out somewhere else, what has been awesome lately is meeting a bunch of people who I've known for months and will now be going to school with. People have found roommates through TLS, organized happy hours. It's been great, and a huge thanks for making it all possible. Knowing what basically amounts to an entire section before starting classes should make the beginning of school feel a bit less intimidating.

Expect a UVA '11 TLS Class photo. There will be 25 or so of us!

So great to hear. I still remember my first day at Berkeley/Boalt and not knowing anyone. While I am an extrovert and quickly made friends, what a huge plus it would have been to already know 20-30 people as will be the case at most top law schools from TLS.

Thanks for the positive post Sgt., to convey knowledge and make people's lives more enjoyable (and less stressful) are the goals of this site and I appreciate your letting me know how TLS has helped everyone. UVA is an amazing school that I loved on my visit, you and everyone else will have a blast!

More thanks, Ken. An excellent site, and this is another welcome addition. TLS has been quite helpful and enjoyable (and a necessary distraction from work) these past few months for me, and we appreciate all you guys do.
