St John's University Class of 2011

Is there anyone else out there that will be attending St John's for the Fall of 2008? I submitted my final deposit to the school today. I'm also curious to hear about the experiences of current students at SJU. Thanks!

I'll be attending in Fall 2008! Are you from NY or out of state? Transportation is my biggest stress right now. I currently live in Astoria and it's a real hassle to commute via public transportation to SJU. I think I will probably have to move closer to the school and near a direct bus line. Even with that, my friend who just finished her 2L at sju recommends getting a car, especially for the first year because it's a real pain (literally) to carry all those books. Meh...
What are your plans for commute and living?

Hi, I got into St. John's today and I hope to go to the Admitted Student's Day on Thursday, June 12, 2008. I'm really excited but I have yet to receive anything other than an invitation for the ASD.

Maybe you got my spot. I withdrew today.
I thought it was too expensive, and as much as I wanted to live near Manhattan, I couldn't find a way to make the numbers work with the debt I would incur. I visited the school a couple of weekends ago, though, and I was impressed. Their mock courtroom is incredible, and the area immediately surrounding the campus is nice.
