If you guys didn't already know, the roommate list is out.

Well I haven't been accepted (yet??) but I visited the campus today and it was gorgeous. Well not outside cuz it was raining, but the building is really nice.

And I have to say that I think Vanderbilt has some of the nicest faculty, especially the lady at the very first desk when you walk in the building. I could see people deciding to come to that school just because of how sweey she is. Everyone was so helpful. I notice this a lot in schools that are in the South. Everyone is so polite, and says hi, and talks to you and that's just how I am so it made me super excited!!!

Basically I just wrote this to rave about the school, and say good choice!! And tell my new friend at the front desk that i love her!!

I know.. I wish there were more Vandy people on here. When are you guys planning on getting to Nashville?

I'm planning on getting to Nashville about a week before the 18th to get settled in.

vandy is my #1 choice! i will be taking the lsat next week and hoping to get in fall '09!

G'luck... I'm assuming the incoming class is going to be numerically higher than mine was last year since my numbers would've gotten me WL'ed this cycle, but we'll be sure to call you all nerds once you get to Nashville so you don't get all bigheaded and using words like 'prestigious' in the law school. Also, I think people generally assume talking about numbers is taboo, but it's definitely kosher at Vandy. I tell my 169/3.9 roommate all the time he's glad he went to school with a bunch of 168/3.4 idiots like myself instead of going to boring old UVA.

Not sure if anyone is a basketball fan, but Vanderbilt's basketball recruiting has been pretty good the past two years (especially the class that will be freshmen your 2L year). I am not saying they'll compete for national titles, but they will be good enough to add another fun dimension to your college experience.

I just got accepted off of the waitlist, and I think I'm going to choose Vandy over the school I was previously planning to attend- W&M.

You will love Vandy and Nashville. Its a lot of fun.
