Come on, I can't be the only TLSer headed to Miami this fall. Who else is going? If you are a lurker, come out of hiding! If it's just me, I'll change the name of this thread to "CRAZY CATS! LOL!" and let people post youtube videos of cats doing stupid things. Then I'll disappear and we'll forget this thread ever happened.

I'm 99% sure I'll be there in the fall, but I'm trying to stop posting on this forum so I can be more productive in the last few months before I start law school.

All right! Some more Miami people! Yeah, Miami is not a T-14, but we'll make do. It's too bad Miami has terrible weather and unattractive people. We'll have to survive somehow

Miami is still a T1 school I believe, I think T1 is the top 100. Anyways, it isn't top 14, but it has a lot of perks. If you want to live in Miami or South Florida you're just as good of a candidate to these law firms as better schools. Some law firms will only hire from UM down in Miami.

Wait a minute invert shadow you took pics of Miami and all you have to show are trees??? You need to visit South Beach, or go further north to Las Olas.

Well, like I said they didn't come out too great and I'm not going to be a professional photographer anytime soon. I need to learn my way around a bit better when I move in the summer.
I already do love it, that's why I'm choosing Miami.
EDIT: I'm not posting anymore after today, so I can get ready to move. Good luck and I'll see you guys in the fall.

I'l be there this fall... the accepted students weekend in March really sold me. Miami is awesome! And the campus looks like a resort

From the accepted students weekend I gathered that most students live in the Coral Gables/Coconut Grove/South Miami area. Some live in Kendall, some in downtown, and some in South Beach. However, most that live at the beach or downtown are 2nd and 3rd years. The beach is only about a 10 minute drive... if you go in the middle of the day. Rush hour would probably take about 30-45 minutes. By the way I'm looking for a roommate if anyone is interested!
