post here if you are planning on going to University of Minnesota in the fall and I'll update this first post to keep a running tab of who's attending.
I'm sure there are other lurkers out there. Hopefully they will show up and all the good folks on the waiting list can get good news so they can join us too.

I have sent in my deposit and I am attending the April ASW.

I'm not attending the ASW, but lived in Minneapolis for 8 years and went to UG at the U, so if you have any questions, I'll try to answer them.

I also went to the U of M for undergrad so I can help answer questions about the city or area if anyone has any.

Mike, that's awesome- I'm glad I won't be the only TLSer there.

Yeah Mike, it looks like there are only 4 of us.
WUSTL really is giving us quite the beating in terms of number of TLSers there.

I think it's because both schools take about the same numbers to gain admittance, and the couple spots of rank actually make a difference to most TLSers.

When did you get your acceptance letter?

I got a call on The 25th and the letter later that week. (I think the 28th, but I'm not certain)

Most people got a call within a couple days of the status checker changing to decision/letter sent and the letter within a week of the status changing.

Good luck- I'd love to have some more TLS classmates!

Well, if you don't get the call today or tomorrow (my call came on a Tuesday but that isn't true of everyone) I'd guess it's not good news- probably a waitlist or rejection.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that I'm wrong and that they've let you in. If any of us are in the same section, I think a TLS study group would be great.

I rarely post here on TLS, but I stop by for a glance at least once a day. I just wanted to say I may be joining you all this Fall at the U. I am not 100% yet. There are a lot of things I really like about the school. However, I am from CA so MN winters scare me. Anyone else here fearing that or are you all Midwesterners? I am also not sure I want to end up working in the Midwest after graduating and I have heard UMN's reach isn't all that national. So I am still considering, but I wanted to let you know you have a potential 5th.

dilongla, bocifus is a 1L at UofM right now, and he came from socal prior to starting and has adjusted fairly well. He mentions that along with some advice in the minnesota v cardozo thread, http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =1&t=29059 on the second page

Yea, sure, put me up there. There is a definite possibility I will be with you all this Fall. Is the ASW this weekend? I can't make it out, but I would be really interested in hearing how it goes.

Stupid me should have looked at the OP. Please fill us in when you get back from the ASW Oklahoma Mike.

The April ASW isn't until the 18th, so if you have that weekend free and can get away that would be really cool.

I would love to go, but I am living outside the US now. So the cost of a plane ticket is a little out of my range.

I wouldn't worry about it. From the looks of it here in MN we may have no summer at all. Winter may just continue forever. Any new members to the MN club?

I hope it warms up at least a little by the 18th, but I'm not really expecting it to do so. I know if I'm going to move to Minneapolis I need to be OK with 5 and a half months of winter.
