I'll have to miss out on the DC meet-up, but I'll be in Prague from June 15th until the 21st, if anyone happens to be in the neighborhood. Yes, I just wanted an excuse to mention that I'm going to Prague.

On a more serious note, we should do a big pre-law school TLS barbecue when we all get to C-ville. Is everyone going to be there by the second week of August? We can start discussing the TLS softball team...

Khordis, I've met plenty of gals who like homeless guys. They can usually score crack money from them by doing unspeakable things behind dumpsters and the like.

Khordis, I've met plenty of gals who like homeless guys. They can usually score crack money from them by doing unspeakable things behind dumpsters and the like.

I'm sure there will be many TLS get togethers in August. Basically everyday.

So is Prague vacation or work? Are you bringing the kids? I loved Prague. It's almost looks fake and everyone is out very late at night - even all the cute old couples. The trams run 24/7, which probably contributes to that. You should go to the ossuray at Kunta Hora if you get the chance, it's a little day trip from Prague and it's a chapel that's been completely decorated with the bones of plague victims. We had some fun times with a large group of bikers (I kid you not) there.

Mostly fun, thankfully, but I can't afford to take the family along. I know that sounds weird...I wrote a paper that was accepted for presentation at a conference in Prague that week, but international air tickets are, for some reason, much more expensive when you fly in and out in less than a week. I convinced my father to go with me, so my father and I are spending a week in Prague, about an hour of which will be dedicated to presenting my research at this conference. My wife and the kids, meanwhile, will spend the week with my mother and grandmother. I know very, very little about Prague, so please IM me with things that I should (and shouldn't!) do!!

Bikers would be cool - my parents are both Harley riders, so my father already wants to pick up some HD Prague shirts for their motorcycle group back home.

okay, to answer a few questions:

1. entourage starts in sept., pushed back because of the writers strike. read an interview with the writer saying there will be "cash-flow issues, vacations to Mexico, and lots of 'shrooms."
2. i will most likely be bringing my dog. he's a 1 yr old great dane. there are pictures of him somewhere around this site.
3. DC meetup? how about Texas?!

I'm moving to C-ville on the 14th, so if we do something then, I won't be able to come.

And, no, I'm super excited about UVA. And about finally hanging out and befriending all of these awesome TLS people.

me neither, but I feel badly because I've already met a bunch of cool/interesting people and my parents will kick my butt to Mars if I don't go. I don't want a whole year off, either, just maybe 3 extra months. I wish there were a spring start option

what would three months do? that's not a lot of time.

Few things as I've been away:

1) 6'3" SD? OK at least we'll have a big man on the Law Intramural BBall team who can shoot. I'm a 5'8 PG that loves to distribute.

2) I'm down for a TLS BBQ everyday in August. I'm sure me and my fellow Avemoreites will host a few.

3) I'm hearing about Entourage and Gossip Girls, but does anyone watch Weeds. Season 4 starts up very soon and I am pumped.

I watch Weeds!! But I'm a bit behind, so I need to rent the last season and re-watch.

I just thought I'd throw this out there now. I'll be staying in C-ville for Thanksgiving and if anybody else is around I'd love some company. I make a decent turkey.
