ubuntu: i'm a "retired" lsat instructor for a major prep company, it's pretty simple, as long as you know your stuff you should be fine. go through the material the way you've been trained and be ready to answer a question multiple different ways so each student can understand what the logical process is. convey that you're genuinely there to help them improve their score, etc. and you should be golden. once you get that kind of respect, you're off to a great start. if you got any other particular q's, feel free to PM.

Um yes I do. Someone actually had been telling me to watch Labyrinth for ages before I finally got around to it. They didn't tell me it had David Bowie or Muppets in it so I learned this during the opening credits. I was like, And then I saw his pants and I was likecantwaitforuva wrote:Nobody else has love for Labyrinth!?!?!?

We bought our son a $20 laser-tag game at Wal-Mart yesterday, so I've been very, very busy recently. I'm wearing the chest plate even as I type this...

Yeah, having kids is rough...
I'm heading to c-ville to try to secure housing on the weekend of the 23rd (flying out on the 25th) - is anyone going to be in town who'd like to meet up?

OnceLost: Ok, Wes, it's time for con law...
Me: Awww, come on, OnceLost. Just five more minutes.
OnceLost: I let you play for five more minutes five minutes ago. It's time to go now.
Me: No!
OnceLost: Wesley Eugene...am I going to have to come over there?
Me: <angrily crosses arms, stomps over to minivan, gets in back seat>

Yes, I'm a guy...although that may be academically debatable after my last brush with the surgeon's knife. Let us just say that the fish farm is no longer exporting...
Thanks, MochaLaw. It turned out to be a very rewarding 15 seconds of my time!
Awesome, Khordis! I will take these shooters away from you, young man!
If you're in C-ville on the weekend of the 23rd, I'll definitely bring the set. It has a cool "neutralize" feature you can use once every game that allows you to disable your opponent's gun for 10 seconds...plenty of time to score a quick win. Unfortunately, my son hasn't figured out that there is a tactical advantage to holding on to your "neutralize" shot until you're close to losing - as a result, he hits me with that first thing and then proceeds to win as I'm disabled. Wait, what was that about a tactical advantage to waiting?

I want to play laser tag, too! How old is your son?
Does anybody know when we find out which section we're in and when our classes are? I'm guessing not until June/after the 2nd deposit some time? I'm buying plane tickets for fall break and want to know just how early I can leave Charlottesville without missing class...

Shadowfish, try looking at this year's schedule, it should be about the same.

He's almost four now. If you ask him, he's three and five-sixths. Next month he'll be eleven-twelfths. Not that he's counting.

I wish we knew a bit more. My boyfriend and I booked tickets to Thailand for December 18 (last day of finals), and I better not have a final then...
I'm also jealous of people with their new law e-mails. I want my UVA one! I even sent in the second deposit

I mean the class schedule. I think she wants to know when the last class on that Friday will be. (Perhaps not?)
