Re: UVA Class of 2011 Housing Thread
Is anyone going with Bank of America as their lender? It looks like it might be the easiest option... if there's any disadvantage in choosing them, please let me know! My bank doesn't seem to do student loans. Also, is there any reason why Access Group would be better than Bank of America? So... confused....

MissVirginia wrote:Thanks CantWait. I have GradPlus listed, but I don't understand- have they already done the credit check and decided we are eligible or does choosing "accept" begin the application process? I also don't see how/where you choose a lender. It asks for lender code etc "if GradPlus", but I'm not understanding how I would go about finding the lending institution. For Stafford it's easy enough to just go with BofA since Virginia does, but there doesn't seem to be an option to do so for GradPlus... or am I missing something?
They gave me the same BofA option for GradPlus and I took that. So no need to find the codes and such

I have ugrad loans from BofA and I have no complaints so far. I'm going with them because they are UVA's preferred lender and because having most of my loans with the same institution is a lot easier.sialeeds wrote:Is anyone going with Bank of America as their lender? I think I'm going to bite the bullet and do that... I've poked around a bit and haven't found anything better, anyway. Just seems like the least amount of hassle.cantwaitforuva wrote:I have ugrad loans from BofA and I have no complaints so far. I'm here, but sort of working.
I will, however, be taming my boredom by watching the Masters Par-3 tournament, which is my favorite golf weekend of the year.

I will eat the hot wings with one hand, watch golf, and type with the other hand. I can't lift a hot wing up with my right hand anyways, so it will all work out.

AND, just an FYI, I need wing-eating partners if I go to UVA. Once a week at least.

I love wings. Wild Wings and BW3s have some decent wings AND big screen TVs.

My kind of girl. Can we add basketball (preferably college) to that equation?ubuntu wrote:yes! wings + beer + baseball or football = heavendoublehoo22 wrote:correction: "AND, just an FYI, I need wing-eating partners WHEN I go to UVA.
