Hi! New to TLS and wanted to answer the book $$ question since I just got back from the bookstore.
Grand total minus Hornbooks/other study aids = $695. Ouch. Hope my loans get dispersed soon.
Thanks again for posting the section pics! Also, I'm in Section L so add another TLS name to the CivPro dream team. Getting excited to meet you guys.

my book total from the bookstore was $525.... (I'm in section g and have no required books for contracts - woo!) but then i came home and looked up some books on amazon and I'm gonna be able to bring that total down to like $350. I went ahead and bought the books from the bookstore until my online ones get here - you can make returns to the UVA bookstore until Sept 4 as long as you don't mark anything up. Also you can charge books to your student account and they'll send you a bill, so I didn't actually end up spending too much money yet.

If anyone is looking for something to do tonight I'll have the olympics on at my place in Ivy from 8 onwards... let me know if you want to stop by, watch the games, have a few drinks, etc.

Short-time lurker, first time poster.
Anyone in Section E? I don't recognize any of the names, but then again I remember very few names from ASW. Thanks, alcohol!
Moving tomorrow, buggin' out a bit over all the stuff I have yet to buy due to remarkable procrastination. Hope to meet some of you all next week.

Section J is just under $700, including used for the only book for which that was an option.

A few people are meeting for dinner at Baja Bean (on the corner) at 7:30. Anyone is welcome to come-you can give me a call beforehand (301-980-5778) so I know how many seats we need or just stop by!

I don't see how section J's schedule is so bad. The times and frequencies of classes are the same as section C.
Anybody want to hit up Three for dancing (optional) and $4 martinis?? Maybe we could start somewhere else and end up there like last week.

Our sections have a class together. I think I met you last night. Didn't I give you my gin and cranberry?
