Re: UVA Class of 2011 Housing Thread
Abiding by the original rules...
1. Some info about yourself
A) I currently live & work FT in Orange County (45 mins. south of Los Angeles) CA, where I've been since graduating from a SoCal UG in 2006. Looking to move out to VA sometime in late July/early August, depending on whatever the lease start dates dictate.
2. How many roommates you're looking for
A) I'm flexible. My UG living arrangement was 6 guys in a 3BR apt for 2 years straight, so I can pretty much handle anything, though I would only like to live with other Law/Graduate students this go-around.
3. What apartment complexes you are looking at
A) Was hoping for Ivy Gardens, University Gardens, or anything else within walking distance (though all of these seem to be filling up quickly.) I will *hopefully* have a car in Cville, so if I do, being RIGHT by campus may not be an absolute must.
4. Whether you want to live in walking distance, or don't mind driving.
A) Pretty much answered that above. Prefer walking distance over driving distance by a good margin.
5. Smoking preference
A) I don't smoke personally, but I can deal with anything as long as it's *mostly* kept outdoors.
6. Anything else you might think is useful.
A) I'm your typical Southern Californian...easygoing and I really don't make a fuss about anything. I plan on studying ridiculously hard (as I'm sure everyone does), but I also value my free time. I'm a bit of a night owl, but not disruptively so. I can be a bit messy when it comes to my personal space, but I do my share when it comes to maintaining communal areas.
Shoot me a PM if anyone is interested in getting more info and/or setting up an arrangement.
