I haven't been following this thread as much as I used too, but I realized something and had to share:

UVA has more TLSers than any other school!!!!!!!!!!!

there are actually more on TLS for UVA than are on that list . . . they need to be added to maximize our dominance

My apologies for being such a flake! Fortunately, our next get-together won't fall during Paralegal Appreciation week when I am being appreciated (i.e. being plied with booze in exchange for continuing my excellent work)

I'm very seriously considering attending UVA next year. I'll need a roommate for the first semester, but my wife will be following me up there in January. Anyone else need looking for a roommate only for the first semester?

That's a tough one. I haven't heard of anyone needing a place for just one semester. You couldn't get your own place?

The other option would be renting a house with someone as long as there is more than one bathroom. (probably preferable to apartments actually).

@ Wesley, students (both law and otherwise) often do semesters abroad or internships away from C'ville and then sublet for a semester. Check Charlottesville Craig's List and ask around with your UVA student contact, I would be surprised if you couldn't find a Fall 2008 sublet 'til your wife joins you in January.

None required for grad students. I'll be at Avemore and they just asked me for a copy of my acceptance letter.

I guess I'm not as lucky, since my admissions letter + scholarship offer were not enough for Avemore to approve me without a co-signer. I was really into the office/sunroom unit they offer, but whatever. I think my wife and I will be signing at Stone Creek.
