worth it in what respect? i'm a summer starter here and i can tell you that its been great having the town and law school to ourselves. just walking around and eating at places where it's not too crowded is awesome, and you bond with your classmates as you explore ann arbor together. there are a couple things you'll never get to enjoy if you don't spend a summer here (top of the park,the AA art fair) which add to the experience. i've really appreciated having the summer to ease myself into law school and i feel like a seasoned veteran already.

So? How are people feeling so far? I'm a little disappointed that they didn't have more social events planned for the first couple of days, but so far I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm impressed by that student who got 1st on the Chinese college entrance exam. About 4 million people take the exam, while about 1/4000 get 180 on the LSAT, so that is approximately 1000 times rarer than a 180.

Football game - Big House is awesome; Saturday's performance, not so awesome.

Classmates are very awesome; loads of undergrads walking through the law school at random, not so awesome.

The Ann Arbor bar scene, awesome so far; 1st day reading assignments, not so awesome.
