Get used to it. The worst thing about UofM is that everyone is so damned happy to be there. It's a double-edged sword. If you start to feel really suffocated, you can head to East Lansing with me on Saturdays to watch the Spartans get their asses handed to them---that is, if football is your kinda thing.

Done. I'll buy season tickets right now. Watching the Spartans lose will still probably be more entertaining than watching Rodriguez fall apart.TheRedDeath wrote:Well...in lieu of religion, I believe in football.Mosel wrote:TheRedDeath wrote:I spoke to a woman whose love for UM was almost suffocating.

Alright, well that's not true. But at least the Spartans losing is a piece of tradition.

There's a school that's known to all.
Her speciality is winning?
And those Spartans play.....spread offense?

apparently I'm still not attending UMich in the fall. Maybe I pissed off Possum in the Boalt v Mich thread.
It's true though, Ann Arbor will always be a whore.

Please add Lothar to the maybe list. But I'm pretty sure Lothar will be on the attending list in a few weeks.

The IM building (nearest to central) is the biggest and is probably of the best quality. The other two gyms are constantly packed, and in the IM there are more basketball and racquetball courts to play on. It's also by far the closest gym to the law quad, so really you should look for housing near the IM building.citric wrote:Anyone know how the gyms are? I know there are three, basically north, central, and south, but I wonder if they're at the same level of quality, etc. It could make a difference when I look for housing.

ok...I'll clear the backlog of adding people this evening.
There is a Michigan '11 fb group. Unfortunately you need to be in the Michigan network to join it although I think everyone can see it.

I'm down to Boalt or Michigan, unless yale or stanford decide to take a chance on me.
