Negotiation TT

I was accepted at San Diego for $40k/year. I was waitlisted and then accepted at Loyola LA. Loyola gave me $0. Can I even negotiate $0 from a waitlist position? Has it ever worked? Thanks.

Loyola doesn't tend to negotiate at all. At most TT schools this would be a good plan, but unfortunately Loyola does not normally negotiate
