Additional Scholarship

Alright, I recently finished up my first year of law school at a tier 2 school ranked right in the sixties. I had a very successful year and I am ranked in the top 10% of my class. Anyway, my question is if any of you have heard of/have experience with asking for more scholarship money after a successful 1L year? I already receive a scholarship of about 65-70% of total costs; however, I am curious to see if students have used a successful 1L year to obtain more scholarship money. I'm married, and although my wife is not pregnant yet, we have considered the idea of starting to try. It would definitely make our decision easier if I could receive more scholarship money to be in a better financial situation.
Any help, opinions, or thoughts is much appreciated. Thanks!
