Scholarship Negotiation

I am in the process of getting a good LOR from my Discretionary Justice professor from last semester. I received an A+ in his class and a 4.0 with 19 units last semester. I am using his LOR mainly for waitlisted schools, but will the LOR be useful when asking to be reconsidered for more merit aid?

Schools pay for scores generally, so I don't think this additional LOR is going to help you. These things have leverage in a scholarship negotiation:

1. An offer for more money from a better ranked or competitor school.
2. A higher LSAT

That's about it.

I have the higher offers, but have not retaken the LSAT. I guess I should probably stick to using the LOR for the waitlist schools.

Thanks for the input.
