I have a 3.96 and got a 177.
I got into Columbia and NYU but didn't hear about any scholarship information.
What is the next step that I should do to get a scholarship?

Do what BigZuck said, and also you should sit and wait. Merit offers will come, but it will take time. I know for a fact actually that NYU hasn't even begun considering students for financial aid yet (they'll likely begin in a week or two)
