Top Law Schools

Question: My parents are not helping me pay for law school, but they definitely make a "significant" income. I have no problem filling out the Need Access but do you think this can hurt you in any way if your parents do make a significant amount of money? Would it be better to just not submit the Need Access at all?

If a school requires it and you dont fill it out, you wont get any extra money. Even if your parents are loaded, if you fill it out, theres still a chance you can get extra money. I feel like this question is unnecessary...unless im missing your question.

Yeah I'm sorry I really didn't word it well. I'm wondering if it can HURT you in any way in regards to their offers? Like if they see that your parents have significant financial resources do you think it could cause them to offer you less merit $$?

Gotcha. I doubt it. I mean, it wouldnt make sense to. they'll still have a certain desire to have your numbers, regardless of your parents' finances. Theyll have to make a competitive offer or they'll lose you to another school. But i guess idk
