Top Law Schools

Are retirement accounts (401k, roth IRA) counted as student assets for YLS financial aid calculation? I will be entering law school after working for a couple years so I am interested to know whether Yale (and other top law schools) expect you to exhaust money in retirement accounts as well as other kinds of assets and savings.

If yes, are there any types of account/asset that are not counted?

Just seeing this old thread. You probably found the answer by now but just in case: Yale does not consider retirement accounts when assessing your contribution from assets. I'm not sure about other schools.
