Do these loans remain interest free while enrolled in law school?

Assuming they're federal loans, that's correct. I went to law school 4 years after finishing undergrad. Once I became a student again, all of my subsidized loans stopped accruing interest.

Did you have to file/submit something to indicate to them that you were becoming a student again?
