Applied back in March. Received confirmation via email in April.

From past threads, it looks like we won't hear anything until August, or we won't hear anything at all because they don't bother to notify those who are not selected. If you are selected, please post here so the rest of us can stop waiting.

So glad you posted about this! I tried to start a thread on "Third-party" scholarships, but no one replied.

I applied in March as well, received confirmation in April, and have not heard anything since either. Will post if I get selected.

i know of someone who was selected in the last week of july this year. i then emailed them to ask if all selections had been finalized, and they basically said selections are made in late july, early august (which really offers no further clarity about whether i'm out or not). no idea if this is a rolling basis sort of deal.

Do you know if that person got notified by mail or email?

they got a call.

Hm...that phone call is interesting because in the past it was done through emails. Also, August 7/8 looks like the date that past winners were notified. So maybe this Thursday/Friday?

I wasn't selected, but life is great so I cannot complain!

I was selected, asked to defer. I'm still waiting on an answer...
