Negotiating over the phone?

The date for seat deposits is rapidly nearing and, thus, it wouldn't be practical for me to negotiate my scholarship via email. Has anyone negotiated their scholarship with the financial department of a law school over the phone?

Thanks!

Pretty sure in most if not all cases the negotiations are done with the admissions office not the financial aid dept. And each school's policy is different, have you tried searching on the forum for the school you are interested in to see what others have done?

I did it once, when the school specifically asked to talk about things over the phone. I can't imagine that you'd be able to get a response in time, though. That you're talking on the phone doesn't meant any particular person is going to be able to get you a real-time offer ...
