Obviously I'm not going to another school and that leverage is out the window, but I could still just NOT go? That sticker price is serious business and as the time comes maybe I'm teetering??

Depending on the school, being ED does not exempt you form getting decent financial aid. however, with regards to negotiating i say its worth a shot. Whats the worst that could happen? its not like they're going to rescind your admission.
