Top Law Schools

I took the June lsat and recieved a 160 and I also have a 3.32 gpa. Syracuse is my top choice school however the only way I would consider attending is if I recieved a full scholarship or damn near close to it. Does anyone know typical numbers for this type.of offer at Cuse or any schools similar in rank. I am willing to retake but can only see a few point jump due to the fact that I studied hard for my 160. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Odds are good that you get into syracuse, and it seems like maybe you'll get a 1/2 ride or so?

Retaking for a 167+ would do you a lot of good. That would open up splitter friendly schools like Minn, WUSTL and UIUC with a lot of money. Your GPA is holding you back so retaking will be especially helpful.

Thanks for the replies. Like I mentioned retaking is an option, however I like to err on the side of caution and evaluate myself realistically with the numbers I have. Thus allowing myself to not start playing numbers games with scores I have yet to achieve and not getting too far ahead of myself. Knowing my luck I will retake and score lower.

Evaluating yourself realistically means retaking the LSAT if you can do better. Erring on the side of caution here means studying your ass for two months and retaking for a much better score, not sitting on a shitty one. It's not about your luck: there is a lot of room to improve from a 160 and working at it will get you there.
