Thanks!

Just looking here at the website it appears that it is a completely need based scholarship:

-4 students will receive it the first year
-3 students in subsequent years for a total of 22 students
-The class of 2016 was the first to receive it
-Student's will attend law school at no expense

It looks like some, if not a lot of it, is based on financial need.

Would we apply for this with our regular app or after we are already admitted?

1) They have demonstrated financial need
2) They have demonstrated outstanding performance (GPA / LSAT)

Accordingly, if you've got a killer LSAT / GPA combo but your family is part of the middle-class (or above), then you are most likely out of luck. Similarly, if you are a poor person with an LSAT / GPA combination that was barely enough to get you admitted, chances are that you are also out of luck.

Combine this with the fact that, as jrsbaseball5 already mentioned, only 3 students (4 for the first year) will be receiving this award each year and you are basically looking at a very slim chance of actually getting this scholarship.

Do you know what the cut off for the need of financial aid would be? I'd assume it's based upon household income. If so do you know what the cut off would be?

I saw that but wasn't entirely sure what it meant. How would they know what our financial need is then? Is it based on FAFSA?

No idea... I am not sure if there is a hard "cut-off" or how this stuff works, and I don't think that information is readily available when it comes to special scholarships like this either. :|
lol all I know is that if I get it, I'll be hard-pressed to go anywhere else
