Top Law Schools

First, I want to apologize if this is already posted. I've never had success with the search function on this browser.

Does anyone have experience with Columbia and the GI Bill. It appears that compared to many top 14 schools they have an absolutely miserable Yellow Ribbon payout. The same goes for NYU.

Has anyone gone to either school with the GI Bill? Did they, in general, shell out additional scholarships that made up for their lack of participation.

I'd appreciate any insight.

This sounds pretty air-tight. I am a 100%-YR eligible 1L who got $0 in scholarship from CLS. I ended up on the hook for about 31K this first year, defrayed to about 26K after I got a NY veterans TAP award.

Thanks. That totally changes my application strategy.

Also, NYU's yellow ribbon contribution doesn't suck. They contribute $20,000, which the VA will match to equal $40,000. So you get $40k from yellow ribbon and then the max for a private school ($18k) = $58,000, which will definitely cover tuition.

ETA: Columbia's contribution to YRP will also be $20,000 starting the 2013-2014 academic year.
