I took out some loans earlier this semester to cover cost of living expenses, but I underestimated how much I would need. I need a few thousand dollars to cover my rent and other expenses until I start getting paychecks from my summer job. Can I take out more federal loans now, or is it too late? I think it will take about a week to get the funds through my school's reimbursement system. Our financial aid office is closed until later this week, but I have some spare time today, so I'd like to get this started if I can. Thanks!

Yes you can take out more up to the amount that the school had set for the COA. I had to do this earlier this year. You can do it all through the fed loans website.
