Taking out Federal Loans for 3L Year only?

Is it possible to take out loans for only the third year of law school? I'm trying to see if I will have other sources to utilize for the first two years (unlikely, but in that event, I would only want to take out loans for the final year to avoid accruing interest). :?:

Sorry, I am a complete FedLoans noob and I am hesitant to e-mail the schools' financial aid offices because I have not yet sorted out how I'm going to fund law school, and don't want them to make any assumptions. :?

Thanks in advance to anyone with information on this.

Yeah you can take out as little or as much (up to the COA) as you need each year.

Of course you can, it is possible and extremely easy. I took out loans for the first year and last semester of the third year, no problem.
