Hey everyone, I was just recently accepted into Kansas and this is my number one school and I was just curious if anyone had negotiated previously with them about their scholarship? I was given a 10,000 a year, I am in-state, but I would to get as much as possible.
I appreciate the feedback! Thanks!

Just FYI their admissions dean posts here. You might check the two question threads he has started.

It doesn't hurt to ask. Use this thread as your guide -

I seriously doubt they are going to bump it up. I was unsuccessful recently trying to get my OOS award reevaluated (I was offered a 40k over 3 years, 20/10/10). The guy was friendly enough in e-mail, but said they weren't going to budge because it was 'the highest award they give to OOS'. They will argue that the cost of tuition is already really low, especially with the money they have offered. So, you will need an offer from a peer that makes it cheaper than KU (which is going to probably be difficult to find). You might also want to argue about cost of living in making this argument.
Hope it works out!
