Does anyone know if you join the JAG Corps for any branch, if they offer tuition assistance or under a LRAP program?

Makes you wish there was a "Show All Pages" function on the forums because it really is full of excellent information, you just have to dig through it.Rotor wrote:It's a beast of a thread now, but it contains most everything you could want to know.

Apparently school has little to no bearing for JAG. Even Cooley is supposedly one of the higher represented schools in JAG according to the military thread. All and any ABA accredited law school is fair game basically, although AF is supposedly pickier. JAG takes a whole person approach. I would go to a school that combines a balance of rep and less debt. You may want to consider your school prestige for when/if you exit the JAG after the required period. But even then it might not matter that much since you have actual years of practice under your belt. Who knows.hoogs23 wrote:Alright thanks. Do you have any suggestions on law schools for a jag career or possible, I know it is tought to get into?
