scholarships for transfers

So, after reading several forums regarding transferring I've gotten the impression that most if not all schools do not give scholarship money for incoming transfer students. I was wondering though if this is only true for merit scholarships or do schools not give need based money to transfer students either?

There's not much need-based money in law school, period.

The exceptions being Harvard and Yale. (Stanford? Not sure.)

Depends on the school, and depends on the state. Probably there won't be scholarship money for incoming transfers, but I'm a transfer and I got a need-based grant. It really depends. Good luck!

Georgetown, in addition to Stanford, Yale & Harvard, offers need-based financial aid to transfers.
