Is there a way to be employed while in law school that doesn't require doing the evening sessions? Would it be unusual for a university to hire a law school to work in a library, etc.? Finally, is working while in law school a disastrous decision?

Those library jobs generally require work-study and are usually given to undergrads. You can work somewhere part-time as a file clerk or something, it's not disastrous.
