Amazing that 8 of the top 20 schools with the highest average debt are in the bottom tier of schools. 16 of 20 are ranked 100+.

Good post, same old story though. Do not attend a non-T14 school without connections in the region, a big scholarship, etc.

The tricky part IMO is when you have a top-100 or even top-50 school--the average indebtedness may "only" be $90,000, and the job% post-grad may be a bit better, but is it worth it even then?

I do believe at some point it's worthless to talk in generalities about whether anyone should go to these schools (like on these forums). It must be decided on a case-by-case basis, not the mass group-think of TLS, Above the law, USnews, or any other organization.

Perhaps the only concrete thing to take away is: don't go to law school if you will be BURIED under debt.

Slight edit: saw that some higher-ranked schools made the list, but the lesson is the same.
