Can you retake the LSAT in June to negotiate more money...?

Can you retake the LSAT in June to negotiate more money from a school (assuming you get a higher score)? I'm just curious to see if anyone has done this.

First, I would clearly have a seat deposit at a school in the chance that my score doesn't increase...no need to sit out another year if I don't improve. Second, I'm also aware if I get a better score but not an increase in an offer, I could always withdraw and apply again next year.

Does anyone recommend doing this?

(BTW my stats are 161/3.52, I took the first LSAT in December with the flu).

Certain schools will allow you to do this, but I can't say if they all do.

The best thing to do would be contact the admissions office and ask them. If they say yes, and you feel like you can raise your score, go for it.

I've done it, and it worked. The school I deposited at last year offered me no money, I retook June and scored higher, and the day of the June LSAT score release they sent me a letter offering a half ride.

But please don't go to any school that will accept your current numbers as it will be far too expensive and offer poor job prospects. You need to retake to give yourself a fighting chance at a legal job and a workable debt load.
