Need-Based Grant Question

So I've started filling out financial aid applications and have realized that they almost all require my parents' financial information. Although their financial assets are really high and they've paid for all of my undergraduate expenses, I will be covering all of my law school tuition and living expenses on my own. I have minimal money in my bank accounts, just what I've earned from working in the summers. I was wondering if my parents' information will essentially exclude me from need-based grants, even though I'm paying for everything just like everyone else.

Some schools don't consider your parents' financial information. Some schools do. The schools that do will probably not award you any grant money based on your financial "need".
