I have heen employed full time for five years and will obviously not be working while in law school full time. My girlfriend will be moving with me and has a solid yearly salary. All apartments say that our total income will be evaluated in regards to ability to rent. I do not beleive that my savings account will matter, but will proof of student loans matter, as it is essentially my imcome for the next three years? Input from anyone who has dealt with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Also, since i am moving across the country it would be a stretch to show management companies my w2 from a different state.

Most complexes I know accept your financial aid award notice as income.

I couldn't find anywhere that accepted student loans, but maybe that's because I looked at buildings where there weren't any undergrads living there. Basically I had to get a guarantor for my lease.
