Hello,

Does anyone have experience with having to have their cost of attendance budgets adjusted due to different circumstances? I have a dependent and will need more financial aid than regular students. The school I will be attending is incredibly slow, and they have not posted my award as of yet, so I need to know if I am going to have to prepare to appeal or something.

If you want more than the student budget, you will have to fill out something to ask for it. Schools will usually up it a little bit for a narrow range of specific things, such as child care. Contact your FA office to get the forms you need.
