Is it possible to accept only a portion of the Grad Plus?

So if say for example I'm offered 40k in Grad Plus loans in my financial aid package, is it possible to accept a fraction of it? Or is it take the whole amount or leave it?

My 0L understanding is that you can take only what you need.

As an actual recipient of a loan package, yes that is correct (altho if you get grant aid you might be required to take a certain amount... I don't think this is a widespread condition tho)
