Applying for FA affects international students chances?

I attend college outside the US, and plan to apply for JD program. Will applying for financial aid decrease my chance?
I can't give you a definite answer because I don't know. I have never been in your position and I have a limited familiarity with this topic. I can say that within the US there is a pronounced attitude that cost should not be a barrier to education. I do not think that applying for FA will hurt your chances.
If you want a more definite answer and no one on TLS comes through, you might consider contacting the admissions office at some of the schools you are considering. Asking won't hurt your chances.
