Top Law Schools

I really love UVA but unfortunately they haven't given me scholarship love in return. I have a 170/3.98 and was hoping for a good offer from them.

I'm wondering about two things:

1) Should I reach out to them for scholarship money now , or should I wait a bit longer?
I noticed that, while UVA offers a lot of their scholarships at the time of admission, some students who are admitted earlier in the cycle (I was admitted in the first week of December) receive scholarship notification in March. At the same time, I want to be able to make a decision soon and I need to know about money to do that!

2) My best T-14 offer is 22.5k a year from Duke. I have also received 40k per year from UCLA...but I don't think I can really use that as leverage. Since I am hoping for 30k per year from UVA, would I be better off just asking them to consider me for a scholarship rather than telling them about Duke?, Or is it generally a poor strategy to ask for scholarship consideration without an offer from a peer school?

I sent an email last week saying I had other offers. They asked me to send it in to add to my file so I did and my status on the website now says 'scholarship letter sent'.

I was going to wait until this Friday (some arbitrary deadline I created in my head) but I think I'll just go ahead and send it today. Since I was really hoping for 30k, I am still conflicted on whether I should show them Duke's 22.5k (my highest t-14). I really doubt that they'll respond to UCLA's 40k, but maybe I'll send them both...

no problem, and thanks! I sent an email mentionning that i had other offers and jason trujillo told me to send them in so I just sent all of them in. I'm not trying to play any games just trying to figure out where will be the most financially option for me. I would LOVE for 30 or 35 k and that would pretty much seal the deal for me....but still have yet to hear from a few schools. Its weird that uva seems so much more generous than duke for some other people, but I guess we'll see what happens. GOOD LUCK!
